Description: Government of India took initiative of 'Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav' to celebrate and commemorate 75 yrs independence and the glorious history of its people culture and achievements. This Mahotsava aims to further boost this people's movement through collaborative compaigns and outreach across India and the world. Under this Mahotsav all Teacher Education Institutions are requested to conduct the events/programmes according to the theme decided for each month. Inspiration College of Teacher Education decided activity for March month under theme: Tribal Empowerment was film screening on tribal empowerment. On 17th March 2023 tribal movie"Birsa Munda" was shown to all pupil teachers.Birsa is a biopic on the life of Birsa Munda, a tribal leader from Jharkhand who fought against British colonial oppressors in the 19th century for the liberation of tribals, the scions of lands. Through this movie they observe the life struggles of tribal people and this also bring awareness in them for need of tribal empowerment
